"Working with Marcus from beginning to the end was a pleasant experience. Traveling from New York to New Jersey Marcus meet us at the Newark Penn station and dropped us off at the train station after every encounter. ( we don't not drive ) Marcus was always there to greet us and showed us as many houses that time allowed . If the houses were in East orange,Irvington ,Patterson, Linden, Plainfield or anywhere else in NJ  he was available. Marcus is THE realtor ,he is very knowledgeable, friendly and personable it isn't about just selling houses with Marcus it's about finding your home. Marcus has even followed up to see how we are adjusting to our new home ,Marcus has an outstanding team which helps the buying experience smoother . "I began my home owning journey in December of 2018. I found Shantell Lucas on a realtor search engine. I was looking for someone I saw on Instagram showing houses in Newark NJ, but as fate would have it I accidentally found the most extraordinary and hard-working real estate agent of them all. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was living in New Rochelle NY at the time. I wanted to buy a house in New Jersey because the house prices fit my budget, but I had no clue what I was about to get myself into.  I called Shantell, and within five minutes of talking to her I knew that she was exactly who I wanted to work with. She was young, vibrant, professional, down to earth, informative and most importantly; she grew up in NJ. Thereafter, I met up with Shantell in East Orange for our first viewing. I immediately fell in love with her demeanor. As we walked through the house together, she pointed out things that my virgin eyes could have easily missed. She was more than I could have asked for. As time progressed I realized that I wasn’t as ready to purchase a home as I thought. I spoke to Shantell about my concerns, mostly that I needed to save more money for closing and the down payment. She understood and told me she would reach out to me in three months. So said, so done. In March of 2019, I got a text msg followed by a phone call from Shantell. I was now prepared to purchase and we immediately started looking at houses.

Some of my offers were not accepted and some were. In May of 2019, I got an offer accepted on one house in particular that I loved. My team and I got all the way up to inspection, but the inspection report was not good. At the time I was eager to purchase and really considered purchasing the house. Shantell sat me down and had a serious conversation with me. She told me that she didn’t feel comfortable with me purchasing this house and she knew that she would be able to find me something better. I withdrew my offer. Two weeks later, while I was on vacation for Memorial Day. Shantell called me to say that she had just left an open house for a huge 3 family house that was in my budget. I trusted her judgement so much that I blindly put an offer on the house. I didn’t see the house until after my offer was accepted. Everything went well with inspections and I am now the proud owner of a money maker. I couldn’t have done it without Shantell. I recommend her to everyone I know and I am still using her services. Not only does she sell houses, she finds top paying tenants for the vacant apartments. She’s not pushy with her clients but she has the perfect temperament to get your deal closed on time. I’m sure I’ve left out a ton of examples of what makes Shantell Lucas an amazing agent, but trust me, you won’t regret hiring her.."

She was the only one out of the many who was genuinely interested in finding me a home and not just interested in the money in my pocket. She was so kind and honest with us. She made us feel so comfortable and relieved a lot of our stress by helping us in nearly every part of the process. We put Jacqueline through the ringer. We looked at 29 houses before we said yes. All the calls and texts, the appointments and time she spent did not go unnoticed. She was so patient and real, she spoke to us like we were family and pointed out many things that would have been a burden that we didn't take notice to. Jacqueline has connections with lenders, attorneys and inspectors who all went above and beyond for us as well. Jacqueline found us our home and we couldn't be happier. "I do a lot of work in north nj and I worked with  a lot of diferent agents and all the agents I worked with promise so much but at the end of the day they fail to deliver.but the first day I met mrs.balza I was amazed with her knowledge about newark but it doesn't limit her  with the local area but every area I wanted to buy a property. She listened to me and was able to get me what I wanted she's the first one in and the last one out every day . When ever I want to buy a property I will not buy it until I get her opinion on. Once I'm done doing construction work on the property I call her right away to get me a tenant or to resell it.
